Why Choose the North Coast

Summer’s almost over and you haven't decided whether to head for the Red Sea region or the North Coast. Well here are a number of reasons as to why it’d be better, easier and twice the fun to vacate in the North Coast.

 Distance

If we’re talking distance wise the North Coast is much closer because it’s almost a 3 hour drive. Whereas going to the Red Sea cities could take up to 9 hours and not to mention the troubles of having to go through the checkpoints and having your luggage checked several times along the way.

 Weather

Since it's unbelievably hot in Cairo you’d be looking for a place to escape the scorching heat and the harsh humidity. Then the wiser choice would be to head for the North Coast as the weather nowadays is relatively fairer with a low humidity percentage. On the other hand the temperature in the Red Sea region could reach 45 C.

Activities

Yes snorkeling and diving can be fun but after a few times of visiting the same spots it’ll lose its charm. However, in the North Coast almost every year new spots arise for example there is the drive-in cinema VOX in Mountain-view, there are tons of restaurants with various cuisines as the Lemon Tree and CO in Hacienda and the Super Deli.

There are also a couple of ladies only beaches as La femme and Flamingo in Marina bet you can’t find that in any of the Red Sea cities. There is also the Nile Goddess where you ladies can go to drop all your worries behind and indulge in a journey of healing. They have activities like Tarot cards, creating scents, and sea-jewelry making. If you’re looking for some time of tranquility, this is your ticket.

 Events

Most concerts nowadays take place in the North Coast because it's easier to get to and you can just drive back after it. In fact Amr Diab is holding a concert this Friday in the North Coast. And of course many national and international artists held concerts like Russ and JLO.
