During the 80's and 90's the North Coast was widely related to Alexandria; it was were everyone vacated. I’m pretty sure every family still reminisces over the memory of people walking by the shore and carrying over their shoulder this huge stereo with Amr Diab and Mohammed Mounir playing in the background. All the while sun-kissed Kids are running around building sand castles and flying their kites.

You can also enjoy a night out in Golf Porto Marina North Coast as it has a variety of famous restaurants and cafes as well as a mall. If you’re a fan of fishing then the perfect spots for you are either Marina or Seidi Abdelrahman.

The North Coast isn’t only limited to the beaches and water activities it also has a historical background going all the way back to World War II. Two major battles between the Allies and the Axis took place in El Alamein. Memorial Cemeteries for the fallen soldiers were built. There is also the WWII Military Museum, located in El Alamein, reciting the events of El Alamein War during WWII.
